Time to weigh in

I'm pretty sure everybody has an opinion on what's been going on with young Hollywood these past few years. And unfortunately, "young Hollywood" has been narrowed down to 4 distinct she-celebs-- Paris, Nicole, Lindsay and Britney. I am going to weigh in on each one of them and on this whole broohaha as a whole.
Lindsay -- She is currently that ruined carrot top on the cake. Facing 2 charges, and possibly a third one on drug possession, because she is the one with the most potential, she's the one who has the most to lose. Compared to the rest, she was practically the only "working" celeb. She was sh
ooting movies, making records and doing paid appearances. In short, she was the only one with a "job" that everybody understood and quite honestly, admired. But stupidity hit the fan and now, after "Promises" not delivering their namesake, she faces potential serious jail time. I loved her on "Freaky Friday". I knew then that THIS GIRL was going to make it big. If you can pull it off next to Jaime Lee Curtis, you are something. And even when people talked shit about her, I loved her still. She had this aura of "imperfect perfection" and she wears clothes really really well. But she has disappointed me now, she really did. She is now, in my book, officially stupid, officially bitched out and officially DUMB. How fucked up do you have to be to have all that talent, all that money and influence and still CHOOSE to lose all of it over a few too many swigs? YOU ARE A DUMB CHICK, LILO, and I wish you get several months' worth of jail time!
Paris -- Phew! She must feel like she's on top of the world now! Just imagine her looking at LiLo thinking, "Been there, done that, Honey. Now I gotta go and uhmm, look pretty for
some charity event or something." The fact that she was the one who made it to jail first, she's going to be the GODDESS of all forgiven misdemeanors. Boy does that make me cringe! She's clearly wearing that halo on top of her head pretty well these days. So much so that she's a saint next to LiLo when in fact, she's not. I know, I know... she just might have reformed but history tells us that this girl will do absolutely anything to keep her face on the tabloids. She hates it that the Beckhams were grabbing all the attention. So, World, we ain't seen the worst of Paris yet. I want to be hopeful but after that oh-so-public make out session with that nobody guy, you just have to shake your head.
Nicole -- What exactly does she do anyway? "I star in a comedy show", she says. WOW.
Disrespecting and dissing poor obese kids on Fitness Camp hardly constitutes being a "star". But Nicole is the only one among the bunch whose vajay-jay we haven't seen yet. She is also the least visible around town, even before she became pregnant. So she must be smart one right? WRONG. She has a DUI arrest and is scheduled to show up in court real soon. I hope this girl gets it too. And oh, I blame Lionel Richie TOTALLY. He tells the world that he told Nicole that she apologizes to him too much and that he thinks she's just doing stuff ALL PEOPLE HER AGE SHOULD BE DOING. Hello! She's 26 years old, not 16! No-good dad, what can I say. I hope that baby does her good even though it's in real danger, what with her cocaine and heroine intakes the first few weeks into her pregnancy. Yikes!
Britney -- I remember telling Hoen last week, "You know what? Britney's the least troubled among the bunch. She's the only one without a rap sheet." I so took my words back t
he very next day! I realized that she is indeed a mother of two and that her life should be all about her kids. Do you notice how Brit's kids are hardly ever smiling when she's around? Must be the smoke, don't you think? Compare that to Violet Affleck who seems to be having a good time all the time with Jen and Ben. Britney, I think, is not only a bad mother but a bad friend, a bad daughter (poor Mom living in a trailer), a bad client, a bad boss... which makes her a bad person period. What happened to you? You used to be sweet and pretty even though much leaves to be desired on your singing skillz. It won't be too long 'til she gets a DUI arrest. It's just one breakdown after another. I just saw that OK! Magazine Meltdown story. Poor her. People are flocking to get a copy. Her career is so questionably at the end of the rope right now.
So who's the least problematic one? Nada. Why can't you be like Mandy Moore who is doing movies and records successfully? Why can't you take your talents seriously like the way Natalie Portman does? It worries me that Megan loves how these girls "look". Of course, she only sees the glam and the fame that's why I feel compelled to remind her that these women are bad examples and should not be looked up to. I don't feel sorry for them that every minute of their lives is covered by the paparazzi. So many more celebrities are able to manage themselves well amidst all that. When these girls run over someone and kill them (and that is so not impossible), I hope they disappear off the face of the planet for good because I am so sick of the kind of influence they impose on the young generation. I hope they kill themselves while OD'ing or DUI so that this can be over and done with. If you feel so friggin' miserable, end your life and stop harming other people's. You already have your True Hollywood stories.
