One last time
Tuesday, July 24, 2007

Ok. So it's been weeks since I've gone through different approaches in wearing my contact lenses. I've done wearing them for only when I'm at the gym, to not wearing them for several days to wearing them not more than 6 hours to God knows what. Bottomline: My eyes seem to turn vein-y and red even AFTER I've worn the lenses. Strange! Even my doctor's wondering what's up. The swelling doesn't seem to last so she thinks it's either an allergic reaction or my eyes just can't tolerate wearing lenses for long hours.

The next step: Tomorrow we try a new solution. It's supposed to be hydrogen peroxide-based but the lens case comes with a neutralizer. That way, no chemicals go into my eye.

I HOOOOOPE this works this time. If not, then I guess no contact lens for me after all. And that will just suck especially at the gym. And not being able to wear sunglasses in the middle of summer just sucks all the more.
