Another one of my Tagalog gems...
Joyce: Parang pino-potray nila na 'di siya marangal na tao.
Me: Ah, so di siya naka-graduate?

As I was watching the Filipino Channel for the first time in... a year maybe? I realized:
1) That Regine is so not embracing her age. Her nose looks re-re-redone and she and Ogie are... what's the word. There's no word. I can't describe it.
2) There's this guy named.. what's his name. And he is the crush ng bayan. He can sing and dance but he really wears too much gel.
3) Ding-Dong Dantes looks so much bigger.
4) Claudine has a show with Paulo. I forget the title but... isn't he gay?
5) Gretchen Barretto lip-locked with a certain Estrada (I don't know which one) and "lagot siya sa asawa niya!"
6) Sharon Cuneta will do anything to lose pounds.
7) Sharon Cuneta smiles a lot and makes a lot of pa-cute comments even when nothing's funny and when absolutely no one is talking to her.
8) Randy Santiago looks good for his age.
9) This kick-ass upcoming fantasy show looks cool. Only it stars Angelica Panganiban (or is it Pangilinan). But her kicks and punches look real. Lucky Manzano looks fit.
10) Kris Aquino... THANK GOD she is not in Game Ka na Ba anymore. She was just... there's no word for it either.
11) Balitang K lacks budget. Huge difference from many years ago.
12) Aiza Seguerra really isn't cute anymore. She has resorted to being "that gay sidekick."
13) This game show, "Tok tok tok", like all other game shows, is trying too hard to come up with a "Jingle" that will break the "Ocho Ocho" record. I don't see it doing that. The game is too lame and when they guest Assunta de Rossi wearing what looks like house clothes, what's the point?
14) Mel and Joey. Is it just me or does she sound more annoying than she did 10 years ago?
