And the saga continues...

In order to register for the foundation course I want to take which is BSAD 8110 (Accounting and Finance Fundamentals), I would have to:

1) Detail to the university the syllabus of that so forgettable Finite Mathematics I took as a freshman in college. Even though in the Director's experience, most of the syllabi on this subject from other countries do not meet US Grad studies standards, she would still like to consider it for credential review.

2) take a Math placement exam. Whatever score I obtain and whichever concept they think I am proficient with, I'd have to forward my scores to our Director for their evaluation.

You'd think that lack of information and poor message relaying (not to mention DELAYing) only exists in the Philippines. Noooo. Here in the US where professors and Deans and Directors are held in the highest accord, we are but mere "goers" of the school. Students who do not persevere to get AALL the information like I do will be like dogs left in the streets, awaiting their Masters' command as to when they can come in. If you don't ask for it, they won't work their asses off for you. You have got to make it happen. You have got to ask questions. All the time. And call them after you email them after you've met with them in person.

I need to go to school. I need to get my Masters Degree. This has always been what I wanted so I am willing to do all things necessary and UNnecessary to make it happen. After all, if your goal is up there, you'd have to experience having some blisters and a sprained ankle along the way. Samok lang.

Wish things could be easier though and I wish I got informed waaay sooner.
