As promised, here I am, blogging about the second home we can't seem to have right now.
We have gotten very acquainted with Lifetime Fitness' Omaha center. So huge, it's bigger than a supe'd up Walmart. Thanks to Allan, we were able to get a 7-day trial pass and we are so taking advantage of it. This place is HEAVEN TO US!!! It's not enough that we are both gym freaks, what with hundredsss of cardio machines. They had to have 2 basketball courts, 2 racquetball rooms, 2 wallclimbing studioes, 2 huge yoga and pilates room, 2 ZEN rooms for special yoga and pilates, hundreds of strength training machines, 3 huge lapping pools, 2 water park-style pools, a big jacuzzi, a big sauna, and a special spa. And if that's not enough, they have massage parlors, a cafe, a salon and a Childcare center that takes care of kids under 12 years old for 2 hours. Waahhh!! I just love this place!!!!
Unfortunately, Hoen and I can't afford it pa for now. Plus with the 15 minute travel time and with winter fast approaching (moan), we are still unsure if that route is safe with snow all around. We will definitely sign up when I have work already and maybe towards the end of winter. That way, we can stretch buck for buck. I am in love with this place. Our trial ends on the 16th and I feel some separation anxiety already. :(
