Election was shot in Omaha!

"Election" was on today and I just had to watch it for the twelfth time. It happens to be my favorite Reese Witherspoon movie because she was truly annoying and her face, as frozen in disformation several times in the movie, was just... disturbing. This movie also earned her her first Golden Globe nomination. She plays the overachiever Tracy Flick who wants to win the Student Council election come hell or high water.
Anyway, as I was watching while working on the pc, nothing in the movie screamed "Omaha" but there was a part where Matthew Broderick's character goes, "I just went to Westroads..." That made me turn around and I IMDB'd the movie. Nothing on the plot outline mentioned Omaha so I just dismissed it. Then, towards the end of the movie, Matt goes, "That was it. It was time to leave Omaha..." my eyes popped! So it WAS Omaha!! I then started recognizing the backdrop which was no less than the Woodmen building which used to be Omaha's tallest. I got so excited that I told Hoen to rent it right away because he hadn't seen it yet. Election is a cult classic and I read that it affected some schools on how they handle elections from thereon out. I can't wait to watch it again and this time, under a microscope.
